– Recently, runner-up Quynh Anh has collaborated with designer Nguyen Minh Cong to release an impressive photo series with unique designs, recalling the childhood memories of an entire generation.
In the first design with a dress with a tight bodice and a flared skirt, Quynh Anh fully shows off her “high fashion”, luxurious and mysterious look. The special thing about this outfit is the way Nguyen Minh Cong delicately uses the material of sedge mats.
The outfit fully shows off the charming, sexy beauty but still honors the soft beauty with smooth curves of Vietnamese women. Runner-up Quynh Anh not only wears a dress, but also wears a story about rustic memories subtly conveyed through fashion.
In the second design, the “Queen” chose to wear an elegant pastel yellow outfit made of tweed fabric, combined with a hat and a handbag made entirely of handmade straw. The overall outfit is a bold combination of tradition and modernity, between the closeness of the Vietnamese countryside and sophisticated contemporary tailoring.
Her long, slender legs, perfect for a “Japanese sword”, are fully displayed in this photo. With a unique transformation using straw material to highlight her outfit, Nguyen Minh Cong has breathed new life into an impressive look, keeping up with the current sustainable fashion trend.
With the third outfit imbued with visual art, dark colors and classic shapes, Quynh Anh transformed into the image of a quiet and charming woman wearing a traditional conical hat.
With the conical hat accessory and her typical Asian beauty, runner-up Quynh Anh brought an impressive photo series as a gentle story about the image of a woman in the past, discreet, mysterious but full of inner strength and power.
In the final design, the “Queen” wore a white dress with a unique shape made from a chicken cage, combined with the appearance of a rooster. Using materials and shapes with a strong rural character placed next to Quynh Anh’s modern, cold beauty creates an extremely impressive overall look with an unreal yet genuine beauty, both strange and profound.
Through a photo series in collaboration with runner-up Quynh Anh, Nguyen Minh Cong continues to affirm his position in the Vietnamese fashion industry with a creative and personal mark. He said: “Tradition is never the past, if we know how to retell that story in the language of the present.”
