What is an influencer that can earn up to 300 million VND/month?

Zing Muse – Influencer is a person who has influence on social networks, can make money from collaborating to experience products, services… from there think of the most creative way to convey messages.

Innovative, creative influencer

Started building content on TikTok since 2017, with “flirting” and comedy videos, but it was not until 2018 that Nguyen Van Viet (23 years old, stage name Hoang Viet) got the attention and interaction of many followers on TikTok, Facebook…

According to Hoang Viet, at first he created videos just for fun and as souvenirs, but after receiving a lot of support from the online community, he decided to become an influencer. Currently, Hoang Viet has more than 160,000 followers on Facebook, he focuses on sharing content introducing experiences around life such as fashion, cuisine, etc. on social networks.

“Influencers have a “huge” income, up to 200 – 300 million VND/month. Although the income is high, I have to spend a lot of time thinking and creating content, sometimes under pressure due to lack of ideas. During the time near Tet like this, I can only sleep 4 hours a day to be able to handle the workload”, Viet said.

According to Viet, in addition to the “huge” income, the reason influencers attract young people is the freedom, no time constraints, and the ability to develop each individual’s personality and creativity. Viet said that young people who want to become an influencer need to practice communication skills, video editing skills, etc.

Owning a Facebook page with more than 177,000 followers and often invited to cooperate with brands as an influencer, Ngo Bao Ngoc (27 years old) said: “In my opinion, the biggest pressure is having to think of content to post on social networking sites to maintain interactions with followers. Using many social networks at the same time requires a huge amount of content, while I still have to go to school and work, so this is a bit too much.”

At the same time, Bao Ngoc added: “We must always innovate the content so that our followers do not get bored. Sometimes I am very serious, spending money to prepare everything from clothes, makeup… to assistants, filming to get the most standard photos and videos but do not achieve the desired interaction.”

According to Bao Ngoc, when investing too much but the number of followers does not increase as expected, an influencer needs to change and learn from other influencers. Bao Ngoc also said that as an influencer on social networks, she is always careful in her statements, trying to bring viewers a neat and positive image to inspire many people.

Influencers must have highlights, be different but not eccentric

Master Phan The Anh, a marketing lecturer at Eastern International University, and also an influencer with more than 200,000 followers on Facebook. Master Phan The Anh shared: “Influencers have high income but it is not stable, requiring a lot of hard work and effort. This is a promising profession because businesses and brands want to bring their products or services closer to consumers through influencers”.

According to Master The Anh, young people who want to become influencers must face high competition because there is not much left in this industry for new players to explore and conquer. The influencer job also requires a long-term investment, not just one or two days to be known by the brand, but it is a long-term investment and accepting risks.

Sharing about how to recognize the difference between the two concepts of influencer and KOL (Key Opinion Leader: influential person)? Master The Anh explains: “Influencer can be understood as “macro influencer” (a person with 100,000 to 1 million followers) they have influence on content, communication and have a larger number of followers than KOL. Meanwhile, KOL is a person with specialized knowledge and influence in a specific field such as fashion, health …”.
